Associate | Senior Architectural Designer
Originally from Northern New Jersey, Austin Frankel is AIFNY’s Junior Designer. He works closely with a small team of architects and designers during a project’s design and development, research, and final production stages to develop solutions and create or alter drawings needed for construction.
Prior AIFNY in 2018, Frankel worked for Keenen/Riley as a Project Designer and for Parallel as a Curatorial Associate on a variety of international art institution projects and high-end residential/commercial projects in New York City and South Florida.
Frankel believes that successfully designed spaces are those where people are happy inhabiting and occupying them; he is currently engaged in the pursuit of detailing conditions which enhance such qualities.
