A small, dilapidated German ranch house dating back to 1872 was reconceived as a modern ranch retreat for family who’d moved far away. The 800 SF guesthouse captures the essence of living on the land, capturing prevailing breezes and expansive Texas sunsets.
Simple, humble and local materials deployed with traditional building techniques maintain a sense of timelessness.
