A dear friend in the music industry asked us to build out 3000 SF in a loft building in West Chelsea for his company's sound production and design studio. An open plan allowed for flexible work scenarios, while the recording studio was acoustically isolated from all else. This allowed for display of his contemporary art and vintage design collections. The sound studio was conceived as "a cracked-out California case study, on a dime, inside a Chelsea loft, a nod to the studio's bi-coastal footprint and the owner's wicked sense of humor.
