Jane Street Loft
West Village, New York
For this prime West Village loft located on Jane Street, one family commissioned us to design a space that felt warm, refined and practical, while taking advantage of the 13-foot ceilings to compensate for the limited amount of floor space.

”Pre-renovation, the space was a classic hodgepodge of a 1970s artist’s studio that featured all the horrible tropes from that period,” said principal Matthew Bremer. The family desired more space for its members and once the dated elements were removed, the pre-war, former manufacturing building offered plenty of flexibility for a mutable layout with ample storage.
An antique mirror reflecting this tree-lined West Village block pairs beautifully with green quartzite for the wet bar.
